The event, organised “for the people by the people” aims to
provide an opportunity for open debate on the future of Scotland.
One of the organisers, Renee Slater, said, “This is the only event in
Scotland organised from the grassroots and not by major political parties. We
would urge everyone to come along and have their say.

“It is going to a
really interesting & fun event. A programme which includes something for a wide variety of tastes.
“We plan to create
a document at the end of the event that is a citizen's response to how we see
our future develop.”
